Space Coast Georgia Tech Club

A Georgia Tech Alumni Association Club

The Space Coast is an extremely long area for a club. We probably need at least 2, probably 3, and maybe 4 places around Brevard and Indian River counties.

We are currently using Beef O'Brady's on the Northwest corner of Lake Washington and Wickham roads in Melbourne.  Joe and Tim have been nice enough to let us use their party room which features a 54" HD Plasma and several other TV's to watch other games of interest to the Jackets. The room can accommodate ~40 people. Click here to see where it is and get directions.

We are also making use of the Broken Barrel in Palm Bay. It is less centrally located but has a party room with a big projection screen and a flatpanel. They also get ESPN3 which as of now nobody else does. Click here for Broken Barrel directions.

For the past several years we have been going to the Beef's in Viera where we usually got the 10' screen. This year we were not going to get that regularly. That is still a possibility if we can't get the party room.

If anyone knows of other good places for watching, i.e. has food, adult beverages, lots of TV's preferably large TV's and HDTV's, and subscribes to Satellite channels and ESPNU, please let us know here so we can let others know.

So far for the 2010 football season, we have had very successful game viewings at Beef's in Viera on Murrell Rd. and at Lake Washington Rd. We are sending emails out once a week to inform the Alumni of the game times and locations. If you are not getting the emails contact us here to subscribe.

Before you head out to watch with us contact Doug McAlister to see where we will be going.

GO JACKETS!

Thanks
